Water Services Lansdowne
Reduced water pressure could occur in Lansdowne on
Wednesday (4 November) when Masterton District Council
contractors carry out a Reservoir Valve Repair on Titoki
Street.
Council Utilities Services Manager James Li said the work
should be complete by lunchtime and it is not expected the
repairs will cause significant inconvenience to Lansdowne
residents.
“We’re notifying residents so they will know what to expect
by way of reduced water pressure and also why it has happened,”
Mr Li said.
Discolouration could occur once full pressure was restored
but this would clear if taps were run for a few seconds.
Mr Li said residents could contact the Council call centre on
(06) 370 6300 anytime if they had concerns.
