Masterton District Council has been praised
by the Minister for the Environment for its
“exceptional resource consent processing
performance” following the Resource Management Act (RMA)
survey report for 2012/13.
Health Warning Downgraded for Henley Lake
Tests carried out by Masterton District
Council over the past fortnight have shown that
levels of cyanobacteria (toxic algae) at Henley Lake
are falling. Visitors to Henley Lake are advised
that Masterton District Council have removed the
health warning regarding contact with water at the
Wairarapa Community Alcohol Survey Closes on
Wednesday 30 April at 4pm
Wairarapa residents are reminded that they
only have until 4pm on Wednesday 30th April to give
their views on the positive and negative aspects of
alcohol in the region. To date there have been more
than 1,500 responses to the Wairarapa Community
Alcohol Survey which is available online at
www.mstn.govt.nz or by calling 06 370 6300.
Draft Annual Plan 2014-2015
Masterton District Council has adopted its
Draft Annual Plan for the 2014/15 year and will be
seeking feedback from the community after it is
released on 14th April.
