Road Works | Masterton Castlepoint Road
NOTICE OF ROADWORKS - Road surface replacement on Masterton Castlepoint Road (around 13km from Town between Tauweru and Te Kanuka – also known as Bramerton Station)
WORK INVOLVES
We will be resurfacing the road from Monday, 5 May to Friday, 9 May, 2025, between 7am and 6:30pm, Monday- Friday.
To do this work safely, we will use a stop-and-go system:
- Every 5 -15 minutes, vehicles will be able to pass through the work area, in each direction.
- Then, traffic will be stopped again for 5-15 minutes while we work.
- Depending on the nature of the work, at times there maybe be delays of 15-30 minutes.
Please plan for delays and adjust travel accordingly.
WHEN: Monday 5 May, to Friday, 9 May 2025
START AND FINISH: Between the hours of 7am and 6:30pm, Monday- Friday.
WEATHER: In the event of bad weather or other unforeseen circumstances the work may be delayed until the next available fine day.
TRAFFIC CONTROL: Traffic will be stopped for short periods on the mentioned dates to allow us to carry out our work safely and without interruptions. If you need to reach your property, you can wait and pass through the work area when it’s safe to do so.
Higgins Wairarapa has been contracted by Masterton District Council to carry out this work. If you would like more information about the project, please contact the person below or speak with the on-site supervisor. Thank you for your patience as we work to improve the road!
