With its wide streets, flat topography and recreation trails, Masterton is a great town for cycling. Cycling is great for fitness, for getting fresh air, improving wellbeing and exploring our green space.

Wairarapa welcomes the New Zealand Cycle Classic every year and is also the location of the Huri Huri cycling festival.

The Wairarapa Five Towns Trail Network is a project to develop almost 200km of recreational trails for walking and cycling.
