Heavy Rain Warning | Wairarapa south of Masterton

There is a Heavy Rain Warning in place for the Wairarapa south of Masterton. This is effective from 10am Thursday 1st May to 4pm Friday 2nd May. Expect 120 to 160 mm of rain about the ranges, and 60 to 90 mm nearer the coast. Peak rates of 10 to 20 mm/h, mainly about the ranges.

Streams and rivers may rise rapidly. Surface flooding, slips, and difficult driving conditions possible.
