NOTICE OF ROADWORKS - Road surface repairs on Masterton Castlepoint Road, Te Ore Ore Road and Te Ore Ore-Bideford Road intersection

WORK INVOLVES:

We will be resurfacing the road from 12/05/25 - 30/05/25, between 7 AM and 6:30 PM, Monday- Saturday.

This work will be completed in two stages

• Stage 1 - Mill and fill road surface - Stop/Go 7 - 10 day’s
• Stage 2 – Traffic Island rebuild and various smaller jobs – 5 day’s - less impactful Traffic management where possible

To do this work safely, we will use a stop-and-go system:

• Every 5 -10 mins, vehicles can pass through the work area in each direction.
• Depending on the nature of the work, at times there may be delays of 10 – 20 mins
• Carpark around intersections will be affected and closed during this work, parking for buses and parents will be approx. 430m away on Te Ore Ore Road (opposite Croskery Contracting)

This means you might have to wait for a period of 10 - 20, so please plan for delays and adjust travel accordingly.

WHEN: 12/05/25 until 30/05/25

START AND FINISH: Between the hours of 7:00 AM and 6:30 PM, Monday - Saturday.

WEATHER: In the event of bad weather or other unforeseen circumstances the work may be delayed until the next available fine day.

TRAFFIC CONTROL: Traffic will be stopped for short periods on the mentioned dates to allow us to carry out our work safely and without interruptions. If you need to reach your property, you can wait and pass through the work area when it’s safe to do so.
