Road Closure | Langdale Road

Road closure on Langdale Road (between Masterton Castlepoint Road Intersection and Post office Road)

Purpose - Elite Drainage as Contractors to Masterton District Council will be completing stormwater resilience work along sections of Langdale Road. The purpose of this work is to improve drainage to prevent further scouring and slips along this section of road.

When - The road closure will only be in place between 7am-5pm (Monday-Friday) from 4th August 2025 to 5th September 2025.

Traffic Control - The worksites will be in various locations along Langdale Rd and the road will be closed from Masterton Castlepoint Rd Intersection to Post Office Rd. Residents on Langdale Rd will continue to have access to their properties during this closure, however, we request that you please follow 30km/h speed limit when the road closure is in effect to help keep everyone safe. If you are driving through the worksite, please follow the signs and instructions of the on-site personnel.

Access up to Post Office Rd from Homewood Rd/Blairlogie Langdale Rd end will be available at all times.

In the event of bad weather or other unforeseen circumstances the work may be delayed until the next available day.
