Flushing of water mains continues, to remove air

Flushing of water mains in Masterton is continuing today (Wednesday 8 October) to remove air from the network.
This follows major maintenance yesterday which resulted in air entering the system, causing tapwater to appear cloudy.
The water remains safe to drink, and flushing the system by running water through fire hydrants will resolve the issue. It is hoped to complete this work today.
