Road Works | Masterton Castlepoint Road
Road Reconstruction Works on Masterton Castlepoint Road between 1485 Masterton Castlepoint Rd and 2122 Masterton Castlepoint Rd (Between Te Kanuka and Riversdale turn-off)
WORK INVOLVES: Sections on Masterton Castlepoint Rd between Te Kanuka and Riversdale turn-off are now at end of life and will be replaced; this involves reconstructing the entire road surface. A stop-and-go system will be in place to ensure the work can be completed as quickly and safely as possible.
WHEN: From Tuesday 28th October until Friday 5th December 2025, between 7:00am and 6:30pm, Monday - Friday.
WEATHER: In the event of bad weather or other unforeseen circumstances the work may be delayed until the next appropriate day.
TRAFFIC CONTROL: Traffic will be stopped for short periods to allow us to carry out our work safely, please follow instructions of traffic management personnel on site.
Every 10-15 minutes, vehicles can pass through the work areas in each direction. At times a traffic management vehicle will lead/escort you through the worksites. This means you may have to wait for a period of 10-20 minutes, so please plan for delays and adjust travel accordingly.
If you need to reach your property, please wait and pass through the stop/go with the flow of traffic.
SAFETY: Please ensure that you stand well back, preferably from within your property boundary. Also please ensure all pets are well secured within your section during the work operations.
