Road Works Update | Masterton Castlepoint Road

Update/Addition to Roadworks Notification - Road Reconstruction Works on Masterton Castlepoint Road between 1485 Masterton Castlepoint Rd and 2122 Masterton Castlepoint Rd (Between Te Kanuka and Riversdale turn-off)

As part of the road reconstruction works, we will be carrying out cement stabilising operations on site near Tinakori (approx.18km from town on Masterton Castlepoint Rd). This means that traffic will need to be stopped for longer periods on Monday, 17 November 2025 (between 9am and 3pm) to carry out our work safely.

Every 30 minutes, vehicles can pass through the work area in each direction. A traffic management vehicle will lead/escort you through the worksite. This means you may have to wait for a period of 30 - 40 minutes, so please plan for delays and adjust travel accordingly. Please follow instructions of traffic management personnel on site.

This update is for Monday (17/11/2025), however, in the event of bad weather or other unforeseen circumstances the work may be delayed until the next available fine day.

Please wash your vehicles if you pass through this site as we will be using cement products.
