Notice of Roadworks | Masterton Castlepoint Road

Roadworks Notification - Road Reconstruction Works on Masterton Castlepoint Road between RP 10.957 Masterton Castlepoint Rd and RP 12.600 Masterton Castlepoint Rd (Between Tauweru and Bramerton Station)

As part of the road reconstruction works, we will be carrying out cement stabilising operations on site near Tauweru (approx.11km from town on Masterton Castlepoint Rd). This means that traffic will need to be stopped for longer periods on Monday, 02 February 2026 till Monday, 09 February 2026 (between 9am and 3pm) excluding Friday, 06 February (Waitangi Day) to carry out our work safely.

Every 30 minutes, vehicles can pass through the work area in each direction. A traffic management vehicle will lead/escort you through the worksite. This means you may have to wait for a period of 30 - 40 minutes, so please plan for delays and adjust travel accordingly. Please follow instructions of traffic management personnel on site.

This work is planned for on Monday, 02 February 2026 till Monday, 09 February 2026 (between 9am and 3pm) however, in the event of bad weather or other unforeseen circumstances the work may be delayed until the next available fine day.

Please wash your vehicles if you pass through this site as we will be using cement products.
