Heavy Rain Warning | Tararua Ranges

There is a Heavy Rain Warning in place for the Tararua Ranges. This is effective from 9am Friday 5th June to 3am Saturday 6th June 2026. Expect 100 to 130 mm of rain. Peak rates of 15 to 25 mm/h, especially in thunderstorms.

Streams and rivers may rise rapidly. Surface flooding, slips, and difficult driving conditions possible.
