Road Closure | Upper Waingawa Road

ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE - UPPER WAINGAWA ROAD - As part of a bridge replacement project, Upper Waingawa Road is scheduled to be closed intermittently at the bridge near 40 Upper Waingawa Road.

During weekdays between Tuesday 28th July 2026 and Wednesday 19th August 2026, the road will be closed from 9am to 12pm midday. The road will temporarily reopen between 12pm and 12.30pm to allow traffic to pass through and then shut again from 12.30pm to 3pm.

Road closure will be in place during the hours stated above to ensure we can get an uninterrupted go at the work. No detour will be in place. If you are unsure, please do not hesitate to ask one of our staff on-site. In the event of bad weather or other unforeseen circumstances the work may be delayed until the next available fine day.
