ROAD CLOSURE - State Highway 2, Northern Roundabout resurfacing planned for Masterton

The State Highway 2/Dixon Street roundabout in Masterton is scheduled to be closed for roadworks on Wednesday and Thursday nights (9 and 10 April) between 9pm and 4:30am.

The Wellington Transport Alliance will be resurfacing the roundabout as part of the ongoing state highway summer maintenance season.

The work will see the roundabout CLOSED to all traffic.

Local road detours will be available via Te Ore Ore Road, Colombo Road, Church Street, and Lincoln Road. Drivers should allow for extra travel time. The detour is suitable for heavy vehicles.

These works are to be done at night when fewer vehicles are on the road. This helps minimise disruption and delays for drivers.
