Masterton Stronvar Rd & Masterton Castlepoint Rd Intersection

Roadworks Notification - Road Reconstruction Works on Masterton Stronvar Road - Masterton Castlepoint Road Intersection

As part of the road reconstruction works, we will be carrying out works on Masterton Stronvar Rd intersection (approx. 2.4km from town on Masterton Castlepoint Rd).

This means that traffic restrictions will be as follows:

• Traffic will be under stop/go operation on Monday, 24 August 2026 (between 7.30am and 7.00pm)
• From Tuesday, 25 August 2026 till Friday, 28 August 2026 (between 7.30 am –7.00pm) Masterton Stronvar Road will be closed to through traffic between the intersection and Watsons Rd. Alternative routes available are via Watsons Road and Lees Pakaraka Road (heavy vehicles are advised to use Lees Pakaraka Rd)
• Traffic on Masterton Castlepoint Road will be under intermittent stop/go operations during this period

This work is planned from Monday, 24 August 2026 till Friday, 28 August 2026 (between 7.30am and 7.00pm) however, in the event of bad weather or other unforeseen circumstances the work may be delayed until the next available fine day.
