Featured Castlepoint Castlepoint is home to the iconic lighthouse and surfing beach. The area includes settlements at Mataikona and Whakataki. Riversdale Riversdale hosts a surf lifesaving club, golf course and a permanent resident population of over 400 people. Mauriceville Mauriceville is a small township founded by Scandinavian settlers and has a co-educational primary school. Tīnui Tīnui is a small farming community 30 minutes east of Masterton on the road to Castlepoint and Mataikona.
