Christmas in Masterton

There are lots of great events in Masterton during the holiday season.

Christmas Parade

We encourage local groups and businesses to create fantastic floats for our Christmas Parade. The 2026 parade will be held on Saturday 21 November from 12:30pm. There will be a $500 cash prize for each category winner and $250 for each category runner-up sponsored by Trust House.

The float categories are:

  • Commercial
  • Community Group
  • Sports/Education

Registrations close at 4pm, Friday 6 November.

Christmas Lights Map

Will you be decking the halls this Christmas? Come back in October to register your place on our Christmas Lights Map so people can find your festive display. The map will be available from late November.
